Peter Howells has been involved in noise control since 1972 and was the General Manager of BTR Acoustics Pty Ltd South East Asia.

One of the projects he was responsible for was the selection and manufacture of the Tunnel Ventilation Silencers used on the Mass Rapid Transit System in Singapore, supplying to Shinryo Corporation of Japan.

Since then, Metal Acoustic Products have successfully completed many large noise control projects, including the Melbourne City Link Project supplying the main ventilation attenuators to Transfield Construction Victoria.

Metal Acoustic Products operate with great flexibility in manufacturing facilities and acoustic expertise, in that all manufacturing is carried out by permanent Contractors and retained Acoustic and Structural Consultants.
